The Origin Story
Carl started life as a 1962 Kenworth LW 924 in Vancouver, BC. After 40 years of hauling logs and 15 years rusting in a field, we gave him a second chance.
We tore him down to the frame, added air ride suspension, and installed our first diesel-electric powertrain. The goal was simple: prove that you can get the efficiency of electric with the reliability of diesel.
The Result: A 500HP Electric drive with a 3306 CAT Diesel that demonstrated the viability of our Diesel-Electric Concept.

From Prototype to Production
Mission Accomplished
Carl accomplished our main goals: connecting the generator to the batteries, integrating the electric motor controls, and gathering real-world data. He paved the way for our production trucks.
